Depressed! America x Dead! Reader
Beauty queen of only eighteen
She had some trouble with herself
He was always there to help her
She always belonged to someone else
America was strolling down the sidewalks in New York. He was losing interest in the world. Constantly thinking about his lost love, name. He missed everything about her, from her smile to the way she walked gracefully into a room. It was amazing how she even dated him. She was a common “territory” amongst the other countries. But he was always there to pick her up when they left her for the others, that’s the reason why she probably trusted him more.
I drove for miles and miles
And wound up at your door
I've had you so many times but somehow
I want more
After what seemed like days he started to run and eventually found his car. He got in and drove and drove, watching in his rearview mirrors as the large city grew smaller in the distance. After hours passed he stopped in front of an old house in the country. He recognized it as yours. The American pulled himself together and went to the door, so lost in denial he kept thinking you were alive, he knocked on the door waiting for you to answer, but you never did.
I don't mind spending everyday
Out on your corner in the pouring rain
Look for the girl with the broken smile
Ask her if she wants to stay awhile
And she will be loved
She will be loved
Alfred was being delusional by thinking about you. Everyone was thinking he was crazier than England when he talked to his imaginary friends. He looked into the alleyway and imagined you there a broken smile like the time he found you when Russia broke your heart. It was pouring rain and the sky was dark. HE went up to the illusion of you and asked you if you wanted to stay around with him. You nodded like many times before with your (h/c) hair bouncing slightly as you did so.
Tap on my window knock on my door
I want to make you feel beautiful
I know I tend to get so insecure
It doesn't matter anymore
America was always at his window waiting for you to come knocking on his window. He was reading to make you see what he was saying the whole time. He was insecure with all the stares he was getting but now it was getting worse ever since he came into this forever alone state. But it didn’t matter he was going to wait for you, even if the world ended and time stopped.
It's not always rainbows and butterflies
It's compromise that moves us along, yeah
My heart is full and my door's always open
You can come anytime you want
For the broken blond, life was beginning to suck. None of this was making him happy. Even when illusions of you appeared, it lifted his spirits for only a little bit because you disappeared every time. And every time he told you before you’d fade away, he’d say;
“Name my heart’s full my door is open. Will you join me again?”
I don't mind spending everyday
Out on your corner in the pouring rain
Look for the girl with the broken smile
Ask her if she wants to stay awhile
He always returned to the alleyway and sees you. Every time was the same old story like the day you guys got together. Rain pouring, he’d find you and your broken smile. Tears in your (E/C) color eyes. And as always, Alfred will ask you if you wanted to stay awhile. And of course you’d answer with the same nod. Everyone would sometimes follow him and see him reenact this seen, confused. But they would never understand what he was going through.
And she will be loved
And she will be loved
And she will be loved
And she will be loved
I know where you hide
Alone in your car
Know all of the things that make you who you are
I know that goodbye means nothing at all
Comes back and begs me to catch her every time she falls
Alfred went looking for you again. You weren’t in the alleyway, and that reminded him of the time Hong Kong broke up with you. He started to run for the parking garage where your brother China was trying to sell it. Yao wasn’t there but your (f/c) Volkswagen was, with you in it crying your heart out. He tapped on the glass, and you opened the car door to him. He climbed in and reenacted the entire scene of that one day. Where he persuaded you to be his, by proving he knew everything about you and promised to catch you when you fell. You guys had a hug but when America opened his eyes you were gone. He wasn’t as delusional started then but your death stung him in a greater pain.
Tap on my window knock on my door
I want to make you feel beautiful
The American kept waiting for the illusions of you to come back but they never did. He was waiting for you to tap on his window like always. Ready to make you feel beautiful.
I don't mind spending everyday
Out on your corner in the pouring rain
Look for the girl with the broken smile
Ask her if she wants to stay awhile
After what seemed like forever you never did come back, and yet the blond Alfred still waited at the corner you guys would hang out at. He always had a coffee and a (favorite coffee drink) in his hands, each time he waited. He even showed in the pouring rain. Fully aware of the fact you wouldn’t be coming anytime soon.
And she will be loved
And she will be loved
And she will be loved
And she will be loved
Please don't try so hard to say goodbye
Please don't try so hard to say goodbye
America held his head high to the gray sky where the clouds were pouring rain all over him. You will be loved forever in his little world. You wouldn’t be coming back anytime soon. He then admitted in his head, you were gone. He opened his eyes to see a break in the clouds. Yeah he was ready knowing you’d want him to be happy.
Yeah
I don't mind spending everyday
Out on your corner in the pouring rain
As years went on without you the sky began to change back to a blue more and more. And each you’re your loud obnoxious American returned to being himself but always came to the corner that you two loved so much to remember you every day. He had always tried hard to say goodbye but only did his mind accept it. But one thing was certain to him- to his beloved- she will be loved.
THE END
Once again you story was an epic read
